Last Mile Delivery Assistant Manager (KSA)
LAST MILE DELIVERY ASSISTANT MANAGER
You’ll work closely with courier partners and set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for executing first-time deliveries by city, zone, region or country.
You’ll collaborate effectively with Customer Service teams and third-party logistics partners to ensure that all expectations are continuously maintained and managed.
You’ll use your extensive knowledge of route optimization software to help build a customised solution for the business.
You’ll aim to bring down the RTO (Returned To Origin) rates through smart strategies.
You’ll interact with the technology teams of our courier partners and understand the logic behind their automation drives.
You’ll create, manage and deliver core KPIs to ensure that the Ecommerce operations grow and remain healthy.
You’ll work with Finance teams and courier partners to ensure that financial, stock and Cash-on-Delivery reconciliations are addressed and handled in line with existing SLAs.
You’ll manage and maintain vendor relationships, monitoring the turnaround time of our local vendors and courier partners.
This is You!
You have 3-5 years of experience working in a Bricks and Clicks environment with the operations team of a leading Omni-Channel organisation, preferably in the Middle East.
You have a hands-on, value-driven approach to logistics operations.
You’ve been part of a team that has set up a last mile delivery business from scratch – covering multiple functions from hiring manpower, arranging vehicles, setting up SOPs and dealing with Government regulations to understanding the norms of different countries and territories.
You have world-class project management skills and are adept at implementing process-flows and workflows by utilising tools such as Lucid Charts, Basecamp and Team Gantt or any other widely accepted project management tool.
You have a track record of ensuring that orders are processed and delivered seamlessly.
You are an excellent communicator with great organizational skills.
You have the ability to recognize and respond to changing business needs.
You work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You’re a team player, making contributions across departments.
You create opportunities, overcome obstacles and think outside the box.
